Three words describe the
Sutton Place project: Steep, High, Difficult. Although this job required
minimal roof removal, the installation of the recover shingle was very
challenging due to the slope of the roof. The original lightweight
shingles were constantly blowing off and were beginning to cup and curl.
Over a 2-year period we installed ice and water shield at the gutter edge
and recovered the entire roof with a 30-year GAF Timberline Laminated
Dimensional Shingle.
